Beginning in 2012, the Sexual Assault Centre began to formally recognize community supporters of Taylor the Turtle.
There are so many people, who in so many ways, show kindness and support to our programme, and participate in efforts to end sexual violence, that we wanted to create an opportunity to express our gratitude and also have their contributions recognized by the greater community.
So we created the Friends of Taylor the Turtle award.
